Sports Massage, Sports Rehab

Kaya graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Rehabilitation. Her time here facilitated the opportunity to work closely with a range of high-level athletes in both clinical environments and fast-paced sporting events. Since graduating, she has continued to work in private practice using various treatments, including sports massage, soft tissue therapy, athletic taping, and exercise rehabilitation. Kaya is also training as an osteopath at the University College of Osteopathy, allowing her to develop her treatment and diagnostic skills further. This, combined with her current knowledge of exercise prescription and strength & conditioning will allow optimum treatment for her clients.
Kaya’s sports background has instilled in her a keen understanding of the specific demands placed on our bodies. She comprehends the importance of tailoring treatments to address specific needs, such as promoting flexibility, reducing muscle tension, and improving circulation. By customising treatment plans to the unique requirements of each individual, Kaya ensures that they receive targeted care to enhance their performance and optimize their overall well-being.

Kaya’s clinical interests include concussion management and treatment, particularly in those suffering with persistent post-concussion symptoms as well as an active interest in Women’s health and the female athlete. Kaya has always been passionate about sports, previously playing county-level Netball. These days she enjoys cycling and running.
