Osteopath

Danny Miller is an osteopath and health psychologist with a particular interest in helping people with pain and physical symptoms, especially when these have become persistent, recurrent, or difficult to make sense of.

Danny takes a calm, thoughtful, and evidence informed approach to care, combining hands on osteopathic treatment with clear explanations and practical guidance. He takes time to listen carefully to each patient’s story, supporting people with problems such as back pain, neck pain, joint pain, and sports related injuries. Alongside treatment, Danny helps patients understand what their symptoms mean, what is safe to do, and how to move forward with confidence, particularly when pain has been persistent or previous treatments have not brought lasting improvement.

Before retraining in healthcare, Danny spent many years working in high pressure professional environments, which has shaped his understanding of stress, recovery, and the demands many patients face alongside pain.

In addition to his clinical work, Danny is a tutor at the University College of Osteopathy and is actively involved in research exploring patient experience, communication, and recovery from pain. This academic background helps ensure his clinical practice remains reflective, current, and grounded in best available evidence.

At Phoenix Osteopathy, Danny is committed to creating a supportive and respectful environment where patients feel listened to, understood, and able to make sense of their symptoms, helping them move forward without unnecessary fear or pressure.
