Amy
Phillips

Principal Osteopath

Osteopathy & The Mummy MOT

Amy graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in London with a Masters degree. She has a wealth of experience having first studied for a Sports and Exercise Science degree at Exeter University as well as having worked as Sports Massage practitioner and equipment Pilates teacher for a number of years.
Amy is a relatively new mum and whilst navigating that she does enjoy training at the gym and keeping fit. She’s an experienced middle/long distance runner and swimmer. Amy’s experienced many injuries while exercising and knows the aggravation of not being able to be active or play the sport you love. In fact, successful treatment from an empathetic, local osteopath sowed the seeds in her mind of a possible career path and subsequently her osteopathic style.
Amy’s exceptional at spotting patterns in injuries that are preventing them from healing properly and can get patients back to performing at their best or simply experiencing the quality of active life they desire. Amy takes great pride and care in communicating effectively with patients and providing them with knowledge about their injuries and pain so they can feel confident in their treatment and rehabilitation plans.
“One of the most rewarding aspects of being an Osteopath is spending the time to fully explore the individual needs of each patient so as to develop unique tailor-made treatment strategies, be it for a sports professional, an expectant mother or a nonagenarian.”
